ReplyDeleteHooking up generation. I personally don't like the sound of that. It makes us sound cheap. It makes us seem apathetical towards sex. Sex used to be sacred between a couple who loved each other or for married. Now, sex is like for leisure purposes, to fulfill one's sexual desires and needs. One night stands are getting popular. After sex, they leave everything else behind. They go for casual sex that only gives them temporary 'happiness', that few minutes of transient pleasure that one will not remember. People say that we make a big deal out of it. We DO make a big deal out of it because then, why are today's generation complaining about not being able to feel intimacy? It is because casual sex is done without emotion and passion, just lust. Women learned how to block out their emotions. Or at least that's what they think, resulting in the lack of satisfaction and the feeling of emptiness. Hence, people go from people to people to have sex or 'fun' to look for that sense of satisfaction. However, they fail to realize that until one learns the true meaning of sex, they will not be able to fully fulfill their sexual desires.
ReplyDeleteAs for the links regarding homosexuals and transexuals, I feel that life is complicated by itself. With these new 'genders', it feels like things are going a little overboard and are complicating everyone's life even more. I think that everyone should learn to accept each other for who they are. However, there is a reason why man and woman are created. Isn't that the basis of the human race? With these new developments in gender, it might affect the human race in many different race. As long as there is no discrimination against these people, we should all be living happily ever after. However, as humans, we enjoy looking for other things to make a big deal out of. I feel that if they were to take a step back and just look at everything for a third party's perspective, they would see how senseless everything is. Then again, that's just how humans are. We indulge in the now that we behave immaturely and irrationally. When we look back to the past, only then we realize how silly we were.
As for meningtis, I do not wish anything bad upon anyone but doesn't that prove something about man and woman?
thoughtul. Interesting genderless name, Tripper. One wonders if you are M or F - why do we wonder? we just do. Not knowing a gender makes us uneasy, which is itself interesting. We seem to need to categorize - but then we go overboard in forcing people into those categories when they do not always fit.

ReplyDeleteThat's the interesting thing as well! As much as people would like to know if a person's gay or bisexual etc., As long as they have the knowledge of whether one is female or male, the rest is secondary,
