Everybody Rides The Carousel (1976)

I found a cute short that seems to cover everything we've talked about in class so far- body language, the relationship between men and women, and emotion.

Based on the writings of psychoanalyst Erik Erikson, Everybody Rides the Carousel invites the viewer along on eight rides through the different stages of life. It reflects the inner feelings and conflicting emotions experienced during each stage of personality development.

  1. nice - we should watch this together and see what we see. I found it interesting that when each one becomes the other's "Parent" that the girl grows young (little girl to father) whereas the boy stays the same and the woman grows old, as the mother. Many other things, too. Nice video.
