The females are seen as the weaker gender due to their emotional nature as well as their lack of physical strength, which makes them targets for rape. When a rape case is brought into court, sympathy is always shown to the female as it is the females who are at a disadvantage. However, is it possible that females are taking people's sympathy for granted? Are they accusing the innocent males as a form of revenge even though they are a willing party too?
While females should be protected from the Act of Violence against Men, they also should not abuse the system. Judges also should not be quick to give them sympathy and to judge accordingly and give the males a fair trail, especially in cases like the one mentioned above as there may be a case of unfair trail. The plaintiff might have wrongfully accused the male as she might be holding some grudges against him maybe due to an unhappy breakup. And that is why they say never to mess with a woman's scorn (as mentioned in 'X-Men: The Last Stand' when Mystique ratted out on Magneto).
There was a case a long time ago where a high school boy was charged for impregnating his girlfriend. The boy took responsibility and took care of his girlfriend as well. Even though the female admitted in court that she was a willing party and that they had loved each other, the boy was still charged in court as they were both underage.
I thought that it was an unfair trail as the boy had set a good example. First, the female admitted to being a consensual party so it is not considered rape. Secondly, the boy took responsibility in caring for the mother and the unborn child. While they might need guidance in raising a family at such a young age, I think that they had also demonstrated a level of maturity.
In conclusion, while the females are protected by the law, they should also not abuse the system to their advantage for a grudge that should be settled out of court.
